The member representing Abeokuta North State Constituency at Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Modupe Onikepo Mujota has enjoined Christians to continue to practice the spirit of sacrifice and forthrightness as they celebrate the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ, the epitome of sacrifice through the gift of His life to redeem the world.

While thanking God for sparing their lives despite the many socio economic and security challenges within the State and Country,
Mujota enjoined all Ogun residents, particularly her constituents in Abeokuta North, to continue being law abiding and celebrate in moderation. According to her, “the time of denial and fasting by Christians and the coming Ramadan are critical signs that God is leading us in the battle to combat and conquer the scourge of disease, hunger and insecurity bedevilling the Nation”. “We must be encouraged, ceaseless in prayer and faith that things will turn around for the best”.

Mujota took advantage of the easter greetings to reiterate her commitments towards ensuring that her people are not left out in the benefits they are entitled to in areas of legislation and project implementation particularly once Constituency project funds are released.
