ABEOKUTA: Ahead of Easter festival, Stephanie and Olumide Aderinokun Foundation (OSAF), has donated 200 bags of rice to Christian faithful in Ogun Central Senatorial District.
Speaking to newsmen in Abeokuta on Friday, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Hon. Olumide Aderinokun said the gesture was borne out of his love for humanity.
Speaking further, the soft spoken Egba born politician said as Christians celebrate the remembrance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Christians should try to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, peaceful co-existence and sacrifice for one another.
“We must at all times extended hand of fellowship to people around us. This gesture is geared towards putting smiles on the faces of our people ahead of Easter festival. This season is all about giving.
“We must learn to live peacefully with ourselves. No nation can make any meaningful progress in an atmosphere riddled with pockets of violence and killings.
“It is time for every Nigerian to unite and eschew bitterness along ethnic and religious lines for the sake of a prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
