Come Saturday January 25, 2025, all roads lead to Obada, near Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, as notable clergymen from all walks of life witness the consecration and enthronement of popular man of God, Reverend Dr Dayo Akinboyewa in the charismatic office of a Bishop.

The consecration will be performed by one of the nation’s foremost clerics, Archbishop Taiwo Akinola, General Overseer, Rhema Christian Church and Towers.

Bishop-elect Akinboyewa is the General Overseer of Throne Covenant Redemption Centre.

Also, the Consecration ceremony coincides with the official dedication of the church building located behind Bethel’s Estate, Obada-Oko.

Prominent Ministers of God expected to grace the ceremony include the South-West Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), Bishop Akin Akinsanya; Ogun State Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Apostle Dr Bello Otaru; General Overseer, Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume and President, Bible Society of Nigeria, Bishop Bunmi Banwo.

Others include, Bishop Dr Victor Akiila, Bishop Dr Abiodun Akinteye, Bishop I.O. Alaya and Bishop Stephen Olalekan.

Rev. Dr. Dayo Akinboyewa hails from Ondo town, Ondo State. He was born and brought up in his home state before relocating to Lagos.

He has been actively involved in Kingdom’s work since he was young. From his teenage years, he felt the call of God upon his life before relocating to Lagos, where he served in several capacities as a Minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

He studied in Nsukka before he proceeded to bag a Postgraduate Diploma in Redeemer Bible College to aid his pastoral calling. The call of God in his life became vivid about 13 years ago, which led to the establishment of Throne Covenant Redemption Centre, Obada, Abeokuta.

Dr Akinboyewa has the mandate to call God’s children to royalty and being the Lead pastor, the church has recorded significant growth and God has been prospering the Ministry.

He later bagged a Doctorate degree in Theology at the Emmanuel University, South Africa.

He became a Bishop-elect in the year 2023 and as a visionary leader, he has been recognised by international bodies and ministries for leadership role in many organisations.

He has been described by many as a man of upright character, focused on the call of God for his ministry for which he is duly being recognised to merit such title in the body of Christ by the Christ Global College of Bishop.

Rev Dr. Akinboyewa is an astute writer, an avid listener, a charismatic leader, who was tutored in Day-Star Christian Centre, and a skilled communicator who has written some books.

He has hosted several programmes such as inter-denominational worship, Ecumenical Worship aka Fire Blast, and an Evangelist who lives to showcase Jesus through his crusades.

At some point, he was appointed as a District Superintendent of Church of God in Christ(COGIC), with Headquarters in the United States of America.

Rev. Dr. Akinboyewa is married to a co-labourer in the Ministry, Pastor Mrs. Lara Akinboyewa and they are blessed with beautiful children.
