Final bout card for the highly anticipated King and Queen of the Ring showdown will be determined on Friday Night Smackdown as Randy Orton and Tama Tonga will battle for a chance to fight against Monday Night Raw’s candidate, Gunther.

Members of The Bloodline namely Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa were instrumental as Tonga defeated LA Knight last week to advance to the semi-final of the King of the Ring tournament on Friday Night Smackdown. Tonight’s Smackdown will be the first to be held in Saudi Arabia, you can catch the action live on WWE Network (ch 68) at 1am on Saturday.

While Knight was on the cusp of victory as he planned to execute The BFT, Loa intervened to save Tonga from the vicious move. A distracted Knight could not stop Tonga as he struck with a reverse STO to win the match.

Orton fought through pain as Carmelo Hayes attempted to take advantage of his knee injury, but The Viper averted danger by Punt Kick which would prove fatal. In a rapid move, Orton hit Hayes with his signature RKO to emerge victorious and advance to the semi-final against Tonga.

While Orton was being interviewed in the ring after his victory, he was interrupted by The Bloodline. An irate Orton promised to introduce Tonga and The Bloodline to “the most destructive letters in WWE, RKO!” Whoever wins the duel will face Gunther on Saturday at the King and Queen of the Ring showdown in Saudi Arabia.

Similarly, the Queen of the Ring tournament will continue on Friday. Nia Jax will face-off with Bianca Belair in the semi-final. Nia advanced after Jade Cargill was disqualified for using the steel chair, while Bianca overpowered Tiffany Stratton. The winner will face Raw’s representative, Lyra Valkyria.
