The Chief Imam of Simawa/Ologun Ogijo and its environs, Alhaji Abdul Mojeed Jamiu has lauded Senator representing Ogun West APC, Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi’s contributions to get the Muslim refreshned by providing Ramadan’s pallative and urged the community to sustain the good deeds inspired by Ramadan.
The cleric emphasized the importance of unity and spiritual growth after Ramadan fasting.
The Chief Imam highlighted the importance of continuing acts of kindness and generosity after Ramadan, urging the community to remain steadfast in their spiritual journey.
The Cleric also used the opportunity to encourage wealthy individuals to emulate Senator Adeola’s philanthropic efforts.
The Senator, representing Ogun West APC, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, on Saturday organized a special Ramadan prayer session in honor of President Bola Tinubu’s 73rd birthday.
The event, organized by Ogun Muslim Community Society, was convened by Mr. Babatunde Osho, on behalf of Yayi Progressive Friends, drew an impressive crowd of over 2,000 Muslim faithfuls who gathered to pray for the President.
The tafsir prayer marks the second edition of the special prayer with attendees expressing their delight and gratitude for being part of such a meaningful celebration.
The Ogun Muslim Community Society, consisting areas such as Simawa, Ologbun, Ogijo, Agbowa, and Likosi, gathered for a significant event that highlighted unity, leadership, and the spiritual lessons of Ramadan.
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) was represented by Hon. Bolaji Oyeleye, who expressed gratitude to the clerics and Muslim Ummah in attendance.
Hon. Oyeleye attested Senator Adeola’s humility and dedication to the Muslim community.
He urged the congregants to uphold the lessons learned during Ramadan and to continue acts of kindness and generosity.

The event also featured reflections on the lessons of Ramadan, with speakers urging congregants not to stray from the values and teachings embraced during the holy month.
