Ibadan Residents Win Big In Glo Festival Of Joy Promo

Two lucky Nigerians on Monday in Ibadan, Oyo State,  drove home brand new Kia Picanto cars they won in the ongoing Glo Festival of Joy promo, organized by Technology Company, Globacom.

The presentation ceremony held at Gloworld, Ring Road in Ibadan, also saw 65 other winners receive exciting prizes, including power generating sets, sewing machines, and grinding machines.

The car winners, Mr. Adeola Olatayo Silas, a Quantity Surveyor, and Mr. Seun Okeowo, a Media practitioner, were overwhelmed with joy as they received their prizes. Silas expressed his delight, stating that he had always hoped to win a prize in Globacom’s promos.

Other winners, including Pastor Oluwole Abayomi, who won a power generator, and Oluwole Babatunde Olusegun, an Ibadan-based teacher who won a sewing machine, shared their excitement and gratitude. Pastor Oluwole Abayomi, a resident of Akure, explained that he got the call from Globacom, but didn’t believe it. “My brother actually warned me to be cautious because it might be a ruse to kidnap me,” he disclosed. He prayed for continued prosperity for the business.

On his part, Oluwole Babatunde Olusegun said his next target is to win a car. “Meanwhile, this sewing machine has come in handy as my wife and children will learn fashion designing with it”, he said; while Waheed Azeez, a trailer driver who won a grinding machine, stated that his wife would run a mill with it.

Special Guest and Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Lawal, who praised Globacom for initiating the promo, describing the company as “a pride of Nigeria” that has continued to offer affordable and quality products and services.

Akinwale Akanbi; brand influencers including comedian Seyi Law, Nollywood stars like Odunlade Adekola, Tunde Usman a.k.a. Okele, Bimbo Thomas and Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi as well as Kiekie, a content creator.
