For close to a decade, a humanitarian Group under the aegis of Caring Hearts Rescue Initiative for Social Transformation have been able to put smiles on the faces of numerous Nigerians who are either financially incapacitated, vulnerable, lack basic human needs, medical needs and assistance, with a sense of belonging to mention a few.

This non-profit Organization has over the years brought succour to Nigerians at a time the nation is experiencing economic downturn, which has in turn led to the impoverishment of the citizens.

The faith-based organization is an initiative of Davidson Adejuwon, a legal practitioner, who find solace in putting smiles on the faces of the needy and  impoverished.

He conceived this idea in 2015 by divine inspiration and the initiative was properly birthed in 2020 and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC.

The sole aim of this initiative is to provide humanitarian support and empowerment programs to vulnerable individuals and communities, promoting social justice, and human dignity. Caring Hearts Rescue Initiative for Social Transformation was created to offer free legal representation to indigents and pretrial inmates.

He has a vision of having a society where every individual has access to basic human needs, equal opportunities, and a chance to thrive, whose objectives is to provide food, clothing, and shelter to the destitute and abandoned citizens.

In providing medical assistance and care to the sick and abandoned, saw the organization this December engaging in a Rescue mission of 12 persons  from Three medical Facilities.

These persons have been delayed at various hospitals due to their inability to pay their medical bills.

The organization paid the hospital bills of One person in Sagamu Teaching Hospital, Ogun State; Seven patient from Tolu Medical Center, Ojo Road, Ajegunle, Lagos; and another Four persons from Tolu Medical Center HQ, Akinbo, Ajegunle, Lagos.

According to Davidson Adejuwon, “We usually engage in this Rescue mission for the vulnerable irrespective of religion, creed, language, norms, values and beliefs, but based on humanity”.

It would be recalled that in April 2024, the Group visited Tolu Medical Center at Ajegunle and rescued Five persons who were not able to leave the hospitals after treatment due to lack of funds to settle their bills.

Also in December 2023, the non-profit Organization rescued 10 persons who were at the verge of eviction by their landlords across the country by offsetting their outstanding rents.

Aside this, the organization has empowered abandoned youths and citizens through education, skills training, and sports.

It also advocate for social justice and human rights, and as well collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

No doubt, the Group has been able to bring Succour to Nigerians and change the narratives of waiting for the government to attend to certain yearnings of the populace.

The Group is however calling on philanthropists across the country and in diaspora who are of like minds to key into this initiative, to further put smiles on the faces of the needy and join the train.
