29th Anniversary: Emir Of Ilorin prays For Governor AbdulRazaq, Says He Promoted Our Culture, Tradition

Emir of Ilorin Chairman, Kwara State Traditional Council Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR has again prayed specially for his son the Sardauna of Ilorin Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as the Governor visited to celebrate the Emir’s 29th anniversary of ascension to the throne of Sheikh Alimi.

The Emir prayed that Allaah grant the governor more wisdom as he continues to develop the state.

The Governor visited the Emir in company of personal aides in honour of the emir’s anniversary — after which he also attended the event organised by Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA).

The Emir is known to have commended the good work of the Governor on several occasions.

“I am convinced that Governor AbdulRazaq is not only popular, but he also believes in and promotes our tradition and custom,” the Emir had declared.

“Let us be thankful to God that we are gifted this kind of Governor. Despite all forms of security challenges across the country, Kwara has been relatively peaceful. We must give credit to the God Almighty who accepts our prayers, and to the Governor for encouraging peace. That is why he has been progressive and he will continue to progress.”
