The Presidential Community Engagement Team today 16th of May 2024 met with the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mr. Kashifu Abdullahi Inuwa, to discuss a strategic roadmap and action plan aimed at promoting digital literacy, talent cultivation, and inclusive access to digital infrastructure and services in communities.

The community engagement team led by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement in the South West, Moremi Ojudu in Abuja said these initiatives align with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed hope agenda.
During the meeting, key areas of focus were identified, including the importance of digital literacy among youths, the need for talent cultivation in the field of information technology, and the promotion of women’s participation in capacity-building and skills development initiatives.

Mr. Inuwa expressed his commitment to working closely with the Presidential Community Engagement Team to advance these initiatives and ensure that all Nigerians have equal access to digital opportunities.
The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between government agencies and community stakeholders in driving progress towards a more digitally inclusive society.
