Fans are gearing up for an electrifying return of the legendary The Rock and Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns to Friday Night Smackdown. You can catch the action live on GOtv.

Fans are left wondering what the emerging storyline will be among the trio of Roman Reigns, Royal Rumble winner, Cody Rhodes and The Rock. Tension started to build among three of them after Rhodes won the Royal Rumble for a second consecutive year and earned the right to challenge Reigns for the second year at Wrestlemania XL.

However, Rhodes stunned the WWE universe when he initially informed Reigns that he would take on World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins instead; he then proceeded to announce The Rock’s return to WWE. Fans were left wondering if The Rock would be the man to challenge Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania XL in April.

A new twist emerged after Rhodes reversed his initial decision and instead chose to exercise his right to challenge Roman Reigns and take his shot at becoming the Undisputed WWE Champion at the grandest stage. Can Rhodes complete the dream story of winning a championship belt that eluded his late father, Dusty Rhodes?

In turn, The Rock shocked fans across the WWE universe when he slapped Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL Kickoff last Thursday. The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes has vowed to seek revenge against The Rock. Can a three-way battle for the WWE Universal Championship be on the cards at Wrestlemania XL? Find out when you tune in WWE Network on GOtv (ch 68) at 1am on Saturday. You can watch a repeat episode at 8am.

Meanwhile, the race to determine the superstar who would challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE Heavyweight Championship is taking shape ahead of Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View show holding next Saturday, February 24.

Contenders for the six-way battle for the coveted challenger slot have started to emerge. Drew McIntire defeated AJ Styles to earn his place, while Randy Orton overpowered Sami Zayn. Bobby Lashley defeated Bronson Reed, while LA Knight outdid Ivar to also book their places in the six-man duel. The other two contenders are yet to be decided. You can find out on Friday night Smackdown.

To enjoy nonstop action from Friday Night Smackdown and many more on WWE channel (GOtv ch. 68), customers can take advantage of the Step Up offer to boost their package for a richer viewing experience.  They can upgrade their subscription through the MyGOtv app or dial *288#.
