TB Joshua: A product of the prophetic word

As we all know, it is quite impossible to separate religion (Christianity) from our transition from the pre-colonial era to the years after we became a free country.

In those days, there were prolific missionaries that served as both spiritual and community leaders. These men, indigenous and foreign, helped to make the important decisions, thus earning their place in the history books.

Apparently, God’s people are a people of prophecy. We are products of the prophetic word and we can only be established and make advancements in our lives through the same. In this timely classic, Prophet TB Joshua is one of the spiritual leaders who has always revealed how to take advantage of the powerful gift of prophecy to order the course of life, and create the future we ought to have.

Temitope Balogun Joshua, referred to as T. B. Joshua, the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations came on the scene when he started the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) with only eight members in 1987. Since then, his church has become a go-to for miracles, prophecies and more for Nigerians and people from all over the world.

Meanwhile, some individuals have always criticized the man of God for one reason or the other. It is important to note that God can speak through scriptures, phrases, images, and various thoughts that He gives. Nigerians especially want a spiritual leader that will tell them the amount of money they will make the next day, the numbers of patronage awaiting them and some request prophecy for bets, forgetting that Prophecy is a biblical concept that is filled with mystery, mystique, and misconceptions.

Some religious leaders these days seem to push the notion way beyond the parameters set in Scripture regarding prophecy. So-called prophets may be found all over the Internet, particularly on social media sites. They claim to speak for God, alleging to be direct recipients of special divine knowledge and revelation.

Glancing through the prophetic world, we are lucky to have the likes of Prophet TB Joshua, who are more or less like the Jeremiah, Paul and other powerful prophecy speakers of then.

Recently, TB Joshua 2020 prophecy on humility came to past. The security implications surrounding the death of George Floyd, the killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and the global economic backlash of the coronavirus outbreak all was first announced in the prophetic word.

Also, Caribbean island of Barbados agitation to remove British Queen Elizabeth as its head of state and become a republic, fulfilled one of Prophet TB Joshua’s prophecies for 2020.

Japan Prime Minister resignation, Leo Messi saga, nullification of David Lyon election in Bayelsa, and many other prophecies have come to past within the shortest period of time. Until we understand how prophecy works, many of us will begin appreciate the man of God.

I can remember vividly when Dr Juan Garcia, the former Mayor of Barranquilla, the fourth largest city in Colombia, South America testifed that the city has seen remarkable progress and advancement ever since the key of the city was symbolically given to Prophet TB Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria.

Be that as it may, until we begin to understand the ingredients of prophecy, we would probably not understand that Prophet TB Joshua is a product of the prophetic world.
