In her welcome speech, Hon. Dr. Princess ‘Ronke Ogunremi, who also doubles as the President of the Organisation mentioned the roles of women in politics to be coordinating of cells, encouraging fellow women to take part in the political running of Nigeria and Ogun State, as the roles of women cannot be wished away. She also noted that members of the noble group must at all times wear the garb of integrity always and shy away from acts capable of soiling their cloaks in filth.

Delivering a paper, Akogun Kola Onadipe highlighted INFLUENCE as a major factor in politics. He revealed that so many people including friends, acquaintances and indeed foes describes women in politics as set of useless and unworthy set of people, this of course is a mis-interpretation of what the women in politics truly represents.

Furthermore, Mrs. Tayo Agunbiade also spoke about women marginalisation and women being instructed from holding important positions in Nigerian Politics, where they can also contribute their quota by displaying their prowess and expertise. She however advised females to rise up and defend their interest.
