Aiyegbusi Urges President Tinubu To Invest Massively In Food Production, Plead With Nigerians To Shelve Protest

As the #EndBadGovernance Protest continues despite appeal from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Nigerians, Amb. Olukayode Aiyegbusi, Leader-In-Charge of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ayo Ni O, Amazing Grace District Worldwide, has pleaded with organizers of the protest to discontinue the protest.

The revered Clergyman said that it was necessary to de-escalate the unrest in the country as a result of the ongoing Nationwide protest that has led to the lost of lives and properties in some part of the country.

He pleaded with the President Tinubu led government and the organizers of the protest to reach a dialogue and bring an end to the ongoing protest.

Speaking to journalists, Aiyegbusi said there is no doubt that hunger is a major issue in the country, as the masses are feeling the pulse of the hardship courtesy of the economic downturn, nevertheless, he said there was need for the people to work with the government for the nation to witness a wind of change.

“I appeal to all believers in Nigeria and all around the world to remain steadfast, prayerful and showcase the tenets of their respective religion by giving unity, peace and peaceful coexistence a chance, regardless of the economic situation “.

The Agronomists further added that there is urgent need for the government to intensively delve in the area of agricultural productivity and enhancement programmes, where all farmers will enjoy agricultural productivity in crops, animals and further enhance them.

He added that the government needs to upp the ante in Tackling insecurity that has become a menace in the country.

“Food Production is a necessity and pivotal for the nation. President Tinubu needs to further invest heavily in the area of food production, as this will address the yearnings of the populace”, he stated.
