Members of the Southwest Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Ogun State Chapter of the party have expressed their solidarity with Hon. (Dr) Ladi Adebutu on his installation as the Lisa-Aje of Egbaland.

Party faithfuls from all the twenty Local Governments in Ogun State gathered at the PDP Secretariat, Abeokuta to identify with a man they considered fit for the title given his pedigree in human capital and business development.

The Southwest PDP was represented by Chief Eddy Olafeso, Southwest Vice Chairman and the Secretary, Revd. Bunmi Jenyo among others.

Eddy Olafeso, while speaking, regarded Hon Adebutu as a man who was well bred and a personality whose human milk of kindness is exemplary.

The Ogun State Chairman of PDP, Hon Sikirulai Ogundele, in his word, made it known that PDP is now a united force. “There is no faction in Ogun PDP anymore”, he said. This statement which was corroborated by Akogun Kola Onadipe, a PDP Chieftain and former Ogun State Commissioner for Special Duties.

Ogundele, in addition, urged party faithfuls to remain united and work towards the same goal so that the party can achieve great success in 2023.

A delighted Adebutu, in his response, thanked all the party faithfuls who were present for their consistent show of love and support.

While commending party returnees, Adebutu, encouraged those who are still “sitting on the fence to come on board fully as the party is set to liberate Ogun State from retrogression.”
