The former Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, 8th Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, Hon (Dr) Oladipupo Adebutu, has expressed rude shock over the demise of Alhaji Abdulfatai Adeyanju, a former member of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Adebutu in a press release signed by the media Director, Ladi Adebutu Democracy Organisation, Afolabi Orekoya described the death of Alhaji Adeyanju as a great loss to the family and people of Ipokia Local Government. He also sympathized with the leadership of the PDP in the state, southwest and national saying his death would be quite painful to the party at this time when his political wisdom and advise are most needed.

He stated further that Adeyanju would be remembered for his grassroot politics which endeared him to the people. He described him as a loyal party man whose style of politics attracted to him many friends and a principled leader whose leadership cannot be disputed. Adeyanju, he said, applied his robust experience in all given administrative and political tasks.

Adebutu prayed that the prayers and the condolences of the people shall ease the family members, PDP members in Ipokia LG and loved ones in this difficult time.

May his soul rest in peace, amen.
