Oyo APC youths declare support for Tinubu

The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress Youth League has declared its support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, reaffirming its commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The declaration was made on Saturday during a Loyalty Walk organised by the youth league in Ibadan, which brought together a large number of APC youths from the 33 local government areas of the state.

The rally, led by the state coordinator, Ayobami Dagilogba, turned major streets of the state capital into a colourful display of solidarity as young progressives marched to express confidence in the Tinubu administration and the leadership of the party.

Dagilogba described the walk as “a resounding message of commitment” to the President’s vision and a demonstration of the youth wing’s readiness to drive the APC’s victory in 2027.

“This walk is more than a rally. It is a declaration of faith in the Renewed Hope vision of the president and our resolve to consolidate its gains in Oyo State and beyond. By the grace of Almighty God, we are confident that APC will achieve total victory in 2027,” he said.

He added that the youth league would continue to mobilise and strengthen grassroots support across the state, stressing that young people remain the “engine room of progressive politics”.

The event, which many described as a unifying moment for APC youths in Oyo State, underscored their collective determination to stand with President Tinubu and the party’s leadership in advancing sustainable development and good governance.

The incumbent is contesting the 2027 election under the platform of the APC.

In 2023, Tinubu defeated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

The duo of Atiku and Obi are also being touted as potential candidates for the 2027 presidential election.
