Yesterday, the 17th of January 2021 was another groundbreaking moment for the youth of Ipokia Local Government area of Ogun West Senatorial district of the Gateway state as it heralded the birth of the most virile, youthful driven and youth-led national organisation, Youths for New Nigeria popularly known as YNN.

It was a rare moment in the porous border area of the state as it is an area that has absolutely no provision for the youth population in the area.

The discussion and inauguration which took place at Ihunbo area which is barely 30 minutes drive into the border line of Nigeria with Benin Republic had a multitude of the youth, strong, capable and progressive youth of the area gather together to analyse the state of youth affairs in the area of the state.

It was a wow moment to have the National Coordinator of YNN, Comrade Sunday Obanubi attend the inauguration despite his very busy schedule.

His time at the meeting was an eye opener to the youth as several opportunities were made known to them in areas of job opportunities and academic advancements.

YNN Ogun State Coordinator was ably represented by the Administrative Director of the State, Comrade Olamilekan Balogun, aka Catalyst.

Comrade Femi Abogunrin, aka Fidelity mobilised and led the Ipokia youth to the group and assured all members to play their parts right to get the best from YNN. He attested to the 21 members already shortlisted for the Federal Government Job and many more being made available to our members in different areas.

Comrade Kojo Ayobami who spoke on behalf of the youth was full of excitement as this will surely be the beginning of new things for youths in the area.

The area of education, youth empowerment, Information Technology advancement and even agricultural opportunities would be enhanced as we progress on this journey.

Effort has begun already to assist some of the youth with admission to higher institutions of their choices.
